Submission Rules and Terms

If submitting by mail, the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival accepts no responsibility for the loss or damage of entries during the shipment to or from the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival.

By submitting your film for screening, you grant the Palm Springs International Comedy Festival the right to use stills and excerpts of up to two minutes for promotional purposes if the film is selected for screening at the festival.

The Palm Springs International Comedy Festival is not responsible for any lost, stolen or damaged entries.
Exceptions to the festival regulations must be authorized by one of the Festival Directors.
Multiple entries are permissible, but each entry must be paid for.

Submissions will not be returned.

All fees are nonrefundable.

Submitting to the festival for consideration is not a guarantee of being programmed. Judges will review all submissions and select the ones that will be screened/perform at the festival.

If you are selected to screen/perform at the festival but can’t make it, you will not get a refund. The submission fee is to consider your submission for screening/performing at the festival.

From those selected to perform/screen, a winner for each category will be selected.

The winner of the Stand up comedian competition will be selected by the judges based on their performance during the festival.
